Little League North Bandits Selection – Launch in 2025
In 2025, the Little League North Bandits Selection was launched, sending a strong signal for youth development in northern Germany. As the sole district, we started directly with four teams: U12, U13, U14, and U16. An ambitious project that brought together players from Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and Schleswig-Holstein.
The idea behind the Little League North was clear: to combine talents from various federal states, promote exchange, and give young athletes the opportunity to compete at a higher athletic level. For many, it was their first time being part of a selection team, with new teammates, new coaches, and new challenges.
Athletically, the first season wasn't as successful as we might have hoped. But in the end, that wasn't the only thing that mattered. Far more important were the experiences, the development, and the team spirit that grew over weeks and months. New friendships were forged, limits were overcome, and valuable competitive experience was gained.
The Little League North Selection 2025 was more than just a sports initiative – it was a collaborative project for the North. A project that shows how much potential, passion, and cohesion lies within our region.
We are proud of all the players, coaches, and supporters who made this chapter possible. 2025 was just the beginning.
